My Story

I’ve always led an active life and in my 20s attained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. My early career began in hospitality, before I moved into pharmaceutical communications, where I worked for over two decades and completed my MBA.

But as life progressed, the demands of work, family, and time took priority, and my health slipped quietly down the list. I found myself 20kg above my ideal, weight, overweight, and edging toward obesity, despite my deep understanding of science.

In 2022, I reached a turning point. With structured weight management, I lost 17kg in just four months. That transformation was more than physical, and it reignited my passion for health and drove me to explore nutrition at a deeper level.

In 2024, I retrained and earned a Level 4 qualification with the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), and then a Level 5 In Nutrition and Metabolism and Nutrition and Immunity. I founded Roots2Wellness Coaching Ltd to help others achieve balance, build sustainable habits, and feel empowered in their health journey.

My mission is to empower individuals and families to improve their health, nutrition, and wellbeing by making confident, informed, and sustainable choices through personalised, evidence-based nutrition education and science-led support.

I support people with weight management, family nutrition, and nutrition for busy lifestyles through practical, science-based guidance and compassionate coaching.

Core Values

1. Empowerment through Knowledge

I believe that lasting health begins with understanding.
By translating nutritional science into practical, everyday guidance, we help individuals make informed choices, building confidence and independence around food, rather than dependence on restrictive diets.

“Education first. Empowerment always”

2. Sustainability and Balance

Health is a lifelong journey, not a quick fix. Our approach focuses on gradual, small, achievable changes that fit naturally into real life supporting sustainable habits for long-term wellbeing, not just short-term results.

“Progress, not perfection”

3. Evidence-Based Practice

I provide advice grounded in up-to-date scientific research and NHS-aligned guidelines. By focusing on what is proven to work: Not trends or fads, and I ensure that every recommendation is safe, effective, and credible.

“Science you can trust, advice you can apply”

4. Personalised Support

Every person is unique and so are their nutritional needs.
I take time to understand individual lifestyles, preferences, and challenges to create realistic, personalised strategies that truly fit.

“Because one size never fits all”

5. Community, Compassion & Integrity

Roots2Wellness is built on a genuine passion for helping people. I believe in meeting clients where they are, offering kindness, encouragement, and practical support, and not judgment or unrealistic expectations.

“Nourishing people, not just plans, and doing the right thing is not always easy”
